White Aged Balsamic Vinegar
Our beautiful White Aged Balsamic vinegar is light, fruity & full of fruit flavours. Naturally sweet, we don’t add a grain of sugar to this balsamic either, resulting in a clean, fresh-tasting dressing. It’s sweet with a hint of creaminess & almost-butterscotch backnotes.
A lot of people haven’t heard of a white balsamic, and even the ones that have haven’t tasted one this good! It’s noticeably thicker than any we’ve seen despite being a touch younger than our traditional aged range & adds a zing to salads, fish, seafood (especially scallops or tuna) or even a fruit salad with the lightest drizzle of this beautiful balsamic.
It won’t caramelise as easily as the traditional balsamic vinegars so is versatile enough to use in cooking; a drizzle when cooking pancetta or roast pork will add an extra dimension of flavour that works beautifully. Use to balance a ceviche & you’ll get a lightness that is difficult to achieve using a cheap, sugary-sweet fruit vinegar or one of our traditional, rich aged balsamic vinegars. Try a shot in a prosecco or a tall glass with ice & soda water for a refreshing long drink!
This is unlike any ‘supermarket balsamic’; in fact, look at the ingredients in the cheap ones & you might be surprised! Instead, this is an incredible partner to anything and you’ll only need the lightest drizzle to give a real richness to anything.
